Egyptian exports to Russian market remarkably increased during the first half of the current year 2018, as reached $ 402.4 Million vs $ 360.6 Million along the same period last year 2017 (11.5% increase), according to latest report received by Minister of Industry, Eng. Amr Nassar.
Both industrial and agricultural were involved in the field of exporting domestic electric appliances, of an increase 224%. Detergents and soap products increased to $ 3.7 million (147% increase). Crochet clothes exports reached $5.73 m., with a 41% increase. Food products reached $19.93 m.; 103% increase.
On his part, Egyptian Commercial Service Head, Mr. Ahmed Antar clarified that this increase came within the efforts exerted by Egyptian Commercial Office in Moscow for streamlining the access of Egyptian commodities into this large-sized market. Promotion efforts included international exhibitions held in Russia, provision of many exporting opportunities and making marketing studies for Egyptian companies.
